Every child deserves a home
The Children’s Home is the largest building on the compound. This 110 meter long building provides a home for our youngest children aged 0-9. The building consists of 2 wings with a large dining room and common area in the middle. Adjoining the building is a playground on one side and a kitchen on the other.
Our babies and toddlers sleep in one wing and the schoolchildren in the other. Both have their own bathrooms, showers and changing rooms. All children get 24/7 care from their team of Ugandan ‘aunties’. Each child has their own bed and their own place at the table for mealtimes.
