Maternity Program

About 25% of births in Uganda is not attended to by a professional health worker. Our Maternity Program is an affordable way for mothers to have a safe pregnancy and delivery. The program includes:

• Antenatal consultation with our midwife
• Lab tests (Hemoglobine, bood group, urine, HIV, malaria and more)
• Ultrasound scan
• A bed net for mother and child
• Tetanus shots
• Delivery at our clinic
• Transport with our ambulance to a larger health facility if necessarily
• Postnatal consultations

The total cost per mother is about $75 but your donation allows us to offer this program to mothers for only $7.50. On average, each week one mother gives birth in our clinic.
