Secondary Vocational School

Combining academics with real world skills

It is our belief that education should not only focus on the academics. Uganda has an abundance of people with certificates and diplomas in all kinds of skills and vocations, but little hands-on experience. That is why our Secondary Vocational School combines the academic curriculum with actual, hands-on experiences in practical vocations like carpentry, brick laying, plumbing, electrical work, tailoring and hair dressing. Students leave our school with certificates in both Secondary Education ('O-level' and 'A-level') and certificates in their vocational skills (UNEB). With this combination we aim to give our students a head start on the job market: so they can become job creators rather than job seekers.
